Vita Impact is a 36-year-old Irish development organisation dedicated to delivering climate justice, social impact and gender equality across Ethiopia and Eritrea. Working hand-in-hand with local communities, the charity designs and implements programmes that provide clean, safe water, fuel-efficient cookstoves, community-led forest restoration and climate-smart agriculture.

Its flagship offering, the Vita Green Impact Fund, combines a circular carbon-finance model with blended impact investment to ensure that women and their families not only receive essential services but also share in the financial returns. Through a highly evolved, community-led methodology, Vita Impact restores waterpoints, distributes low-emission cookstoves and supports sustainable forestry, while its climate-smart agriculture initiatives boost food production to one million tonnes annually, helping smallholder farmers transition to thriving enterprises.

By placing women at the centre of every project, Vita Impact empowers households to build resilient, sustainable livelihoods and creates lasting, cost-effective change in some of the world's most climate-vulnerable regions.
