DONEGAL WOMEN'S CENTRE

Donegal Women's Centre is a charitable organisation that has been delivering trauma-informed support to women across Donegal since 1989. Drawing on a team of accredited psychotherapists and pre-accredited counsellors, the centre offers a comprehensive suite of low-cost, confidential services designed to promote mental health, physical wellbeing and personal empowerment.

Key programmes include the Domestic Abuse Trauma Psychotherapy and Counselling Service, the community-based Donegal Community Counselling Service, and a Women's Health & Family Planning Clinic that provides confidential advice and a full range of contraception. A dedicated iLash Young Women's Sexual Health Clinic offers a free drop-in service for women aged 17-26, while a Listening Service supplies face-to-face or telephone support. Throughout the year the centre also runs a variety of workshops, events and specialised programmes, and maintains an emergency crisis contact line for immediate assistance.
