Company Description
Aid to the Church in Need (Ireland) is a Catholic charity dedicated to supporting Christians wherever they are persecuted, oppressed or in need. Operating across the island, the organisation channels prayer, financial aid and practical assistance to churches, priests and faithful in crisis zones, from the Holy Land and Ukraine to Syria, Lebanon and beyond.
Its core programmes include emergency appeals that fund food, medicine and shelter for vulnerable communities, a worldwide Mass-stipple system that sustains roughly ten percent of priests, and a range of Mass-card offerings for personal intentions such as baptisms, weddings and anniversaries. In addition, ACN Ireland produces the biennial Religious Freedom Report, the annual Persecuted & Forgotten Report and the monthly MIRROR magazine, all of which raise awareness of religious persecution and inspire prayerful solidarity.
Beyond advocacy, the charity offers volunteer opportunities, parish involvement kits, speaker events and an online shop featuring devotional items such as rosary beads, youth Bibles and Christmas novena cards. Through these diverse initiatives, Aid to the Church in Need (Ireland) seeks to "save lives, save souls, save the Faith" for Christians worldwide.
