Nw Cornerstone Company Limited By Guarantee is a charitable organisation dedicated to supporting people through life's most challenging moments, from securing emergency shelter to ensuring older adults can age with dignity. Operating across the Northwest, the charity delivers a wide-range of essential services that aim to strengthen communities and promote wellbeing.

The core programmes include a Homeless Service that provides food, accommodation and emotional support, a Housing First initiative that helps individuals move into stable, long-term homes, and specialised mental-health and wellbeing support. Cornerstone also runs advice, information and employment programmes, childcare and after-school services, and dedicated support for older persons. Volunteers and fundraisers play a vital role, with initiatives such as Meals on Wheels delivering over 24,000 meals to seniors in the past year, while 198 people have been accommodated by the Homeless Team and 51 children attend daily after-school sessions.

Through presentations, open-access services and community outreach, Cornerstone reaches hundreds each year, reinforcing its mission to build a more resilient, caring Northwest for all ages.
