GROW IN IRELAND

Grow in Ireland is a community-focused mental-health organisation that offers free, peer-led support groups for adults over 18. Drawing on lived experience, the programme creates a safe, confidential space where members can share personal challenges, set practical weekly tasks and receive encouragement from people who truly understand mental-health difficulties. Each session follows a clear, structured method, allowing every participant to present a coping or growth issue and benefit from collective problem-solving.

The service is open to anyone in Ireland - no referral, no waiting list and no charge. Grow provides both face-to-face groups in local areas and online meetings, plus a welcome session for newcomers to learn about the approach. In addition to the group work, the organisation publishes a quarterly e-zine, THRIVE, featuring essays, poetry and recovery stories that celebrate progress and resilience. Funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development, Grow in Ireland aims to help people feel seen, heard and supported on their personal recovery journey.
