Company Description
Ballinclea Heights Residents' Association (BHRA) is a community-driven, not-for-profit organisation that represents more than two hundred families living in the Ballinclea Heights estate. By fostering a friendly, neighbourly atmosphere, the association works to protect and enhance the quality of life for long-term residents as well as newer families who have settled in the area.
The BHRA's core activities include organising local events, liaising with Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council on planning matters, and championing the development and upkeep of communal amenities such as Ballinclea Park. Notable achievements include the 1998 transformation of the former reservoir into a landscaped open space and the 2014 installation of a community slide, both of which have broadened the park's appeal for children and adventurous adults alike. The association also maintains a useful links page, a detailed house-number map, and a regular newsletter that keeps residents informed about council developments, local history and community initiatives.
Based in the Ballinclea Heights area, which overlooks Dublin Bay and enjoys easy access to Dun Laoghaire, Dalkey, Killiney and the DART, BHRA serves as the collective voice for the neighbourhood, ensuring that local concerns are heard and that the estate's amenities continue to thrive.
