Company Description
Coolock Development Council (CDC) is a not-for-profit organisation with charitable status that was set up in 1990 to transform the former St John Vianny School into a community-focused hub. Based in Dublin, CDC now manages the Coolock Development Centre and the Northside Enterprise Centre, providing purpose-built workspace, meeting rooms and incubator units for local entrepreneurs and community groups.
The council supports 34 community organisations and business tenants, collectively employing more than 160 people. Its services include property management, administration, maintenance, catering and cleaning through its social-economy subsidiary Northside Facilities & Services Ltd, as well as round-the-clock security provision via Northside Security Services Ltd. These specialised facilities help start-ups scale up, enable community organisations to operate efficiently, and contribute to the social and economic vitality of the north-side of Dublin.
