THE IRISH RACE HORSE TRAINERS' ASSOCIATION

The Irish Racehorse Trainers' Association (IRTA) is the unified voice for racehorse trainers throughout Ireland. Established on 2 September 1950, the association exists to protect and promote the character, status and interests of the training profession, acting as a trusted advocate on behalf of its members.

IRTA works closely with industry stakeholders to identify and resolve any issues that trainers may face, ensuring that training operations run as smoothly and successfully as possible. By listening to the concerns of trainers and liaising with governing bodies, the association helps shape policies and initiatives that benefit the wider racing community.
