Focus Housing Association Company Limited By Guarantee - trading as Focus Ireland - is a national charity dedicated to ending homelessness and giving people a place they can truly call home. Drawing on the pioneering research of Sr Stanislaus Kennedy, the organisation delivers a range-up of services that include emergency accommodation, Housing First placements, advice and information, and specialist support for children, families and young people.

Through its Housing First team, Focus Ireland recruits staff to implement a proven model that moves people directly into permanent homes, while its child-support workers provide tailored assistance to vulnerable youngsters such as Jack and Emma, helping them regain stability and hope. Since 2021 the association has built 635 homes across the country and, in 2023 alone, supported over 1,100 households out of homelessness, 1,851 families and a growing number of youth aged 18-23.

The charity's impact is amplified by a vibrant community of donors, volunteers and supporters who, for example, know that a €250 contribution can enable a family in crisis to receive immediate help. Focus Ireland's blend of advocacy, direct service delivery and public education makes it a cornerstone of Ireland's fight against homelessness.
