Croom Community Development Association (CCDA) is a charitable, guarantee‑company that has been championing the growth and vitality of Croom and its surrounding area since 1988. Working hand‑in‑hand with government bodies, other charities and local development firms, the association seeks to bridge gaps in services and facilities, making the town more attractive and supportive for residents and businesses alike.

Key initiatives include the creation of the Croom Community Hall, the development of the Croom Sports Complex and the establishment of the Croom Community Enterprise Centre – a hub offering flexible work‑space, offices and meeting rooms in the heart of the town. CCDA’s board of directors is drawn from local representatives, ensuring decisions reflect community needs. Membership is open to anyone who wishes to back these efforts, with a modest annual fee of €5.
