ST. CHRISTOPHER'S HOSPICE

St. Christopher’s Hospice is a charitable palliative‑care organisation that has served the Cavan and Monaghan communities for almost four decades. Its core mission is to provide residential nursing, convalescent beds and day‑care facilities for people facing late‑stage chronic or terminal illness, irrespective of race, creed or means.

Building on this legacy, the hospice is undertaking a €6 million extension and refurbishment that will create a new quadrangle of 16 single‑patient bedrooms, each equipped with the latest technologies and a private patio overlooking landscaped gardens. The upgraded hub will also house a specialist home‑care service and a modern day‑care centre, delivering a seamless, patient‑focused palliative‑care pathway. Referrals can be made by a GP or hospital consultant, ensuring that families receive timely, compassionate support.
