Company Description
The Fermoy Community Resource Centre is a long-standing hub for social support and wellbeing in Fermoy and the surrounding area, having opened its doors on 6 December 1989. Over three decades the centre has built a reputation for delivering practical, community-focused services that enhance everyday life for residents of all ages.
Core programmes include a Meals on Wheels service that brings nutritious food directly to those who need it, the Jolly Tots Playschool which provides a safe, nurturing environment for young children, a regular Walking Group that promotes active living, and the annual Friendship Week which celebrates kindness and connection across the town. Housed within the centre is the Fermoy Community Health Project, a collaborative initiative co-funded by the HSE, which develops sustainable health projects for individuals and families. The centre also supports the Fermoy Community Network, a partnership of voluntary, community and statutory organisations that share information and resources to strengthen local services.
Through these diverse offerings, the Fermoy Community Resource Centre remains a vital, welcoming space where neighbours can access essential support, build relationships and improve their quality of life.
