MUINTIR CHRÓNÁIN CUIDEACHTA FAOI THEORAINN RÁTHAÍOCHTA

Muintir Chrónáin Cuideachta Faoi Theorainn Ráthaíochta is a community-driven organisation dedicated to promoting and developing the Irish language, music, culture and heritage. Based in the village of Cluain Dolcáin, the group brings together members, families and local partners to deliver a lively programme of social and educational events that celebrate Irish traditions.

The organisation's core activities include the management of Áras Chrónáin as a cultural venue, the staging of festivals such as Tradfest 2026, and the delivery of regular music sessions, dance classes and workshops. It also supports early-years provision through Naíonra Chrónáin, offers language-planning expertise with vacancies for a CPT language planner, and fosters international collaboration via a new Trans-Atlantic Cultural Partnership with CelticMKE. In addition, Muintir Chrónáin promotes Irish-language initiatives, publishes music recordings and provides venue hire for community groups.
