KNOCK SHRINE ASSOCIATION

Knock Shrine Association is the custodial body behind Ireland’s International Eucharistic and Marian Shrine at Knock, Claremorris, Co. Mayo. It maintains the historic Knock Basilica and its surrounding parish, offering daily Masses, a vibrant online shop and a well‑stocked bookshop for visitors and the wider faithful.

The Association organises a rich programme of spiritual events, including residential retreats such as “Whisper of God” with Fr John Farrelly and “Picking Up My Pen” with Sr Moira McDowall and Deirdre Rowe, as well as regular liturgical celebrations like the Blessing of Candles on Candlemas and the Blessing of Throats on St Blaise’s feast. A newly launched Resource Library provides faith‑formation materials for lifelong learners, newcomers, and anyone curious about the Knock apparition of 1879.

Through its gallery, short‑film presentations and regular news updates, Knock Shrine Association welcomes pilgrims, local parishioners and anyone seeking a deeper encounter with the Marian and Eucharistic traditions of Ireland.
