THE PADDY MCGRATH HOUSING PROJECT

The Paddy McGrath Housing Project is a Dublin-based charitable organisation founded in 1987 by Fr Paddy McGrath. It is dedicated to providing high-quality accommodation, care and support for homeless individuals living with HIV and the associated vulnerabilities that often accompany the condition. By creating a non-judgemental, non-discriminatory environment, the project not only meets residents' physical needs but also restores a sense of security and dignity.

The service portfolio includes a new configuration of homeless services and a Category 4 care and support intensity level, ensuring that residents receive comprehensive, specialised assistance tailored to their health and wellbeing. Funding for the purpose-built homes comes from a blend of capital assistance grants, lottery funding, a Department of Health & Children grant and extensive fundraising, enabling the organisation to maintain safe, welcoming premises for those it serves.
