Cólucht Groighe Náisiúnta Na Éireann Cuideachta Ghníomhaíochta Ainmnithe - the Irish National Stud - is Ireland's premier thoroughbred breeding and visitor destination. Based in County Kildare, the stud offers breeders access to world-class stallions together with a full suite of services, including boarding, sales preparation and foaling support, enabling owners to develop the next generation of champions.

Beyond its breeding expertise, the Irish National Stud welcomes the public to a range of immersive experiences. The Irish Racehorse Experience lets visitors follow a horse's life-cycle from foal to finish line, while the award-winning Japanese Gardens provide a tranquil backdrop for family outings, seasonal dining in the garden restaurant and a dedicated Kids Zone. The site also showcases its elite stallion roster and hosts regular events, workshops and lectures that celebrate equine heritage and horticultural excellence.

The stud is temporarily closed for the season and will reopen to visitors on Monday 26 January 2026, offering ticket sales online and easy access by car, train or coach from Dublin and other major Irish cities.
