The Firkin Crane Company Limited by Guarantee is a charitable organisation devoted to nurturing and presenting dance in Cork. Operating the historic Firkin Crane venue, the company provides a vibrant hub for artists, teachers and audiences, championing both contemporary and inclusive dance practices.

Its programme spans professional classes and workshops - such as the recent Salma Ataya session in Smurfit Studio - as well as artist residencies, new-work commissions and performance series like Irish Modern Dance Theatre's *Cloud Study* and Fiona Quilligan's *Crystal Cloud*. The venue also offers studio and theatre rental, under clear studio policies, for rehearsals, productions and community events. Through its Inclusive Dance Cork (IDC) initiative, the Firkin Crane ensures that dance opportunities are accessible to a wide range of participants.
