The Foundation for Fiscal Studies (FFS) is an independent, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to enriching public debate on Ireland's fiscal, economic and social challenges. By convening scholars, policymakers and practitioners, FFS creates a neutral platform where evidence-based perspectives can be shared and the broader societal implications of fiscal decisions are foregrounded.

Key activities include the "Future of..." series of events, which examine megatrends such as digitalisation, decarbonisation, demographics and deglobalisation and explore practical responses for the Irish economy. The Foundation also administers the annual Miriam Hederman O'Brien Prize, recognising outstanding contributions to Irish fiscal, economic and social policy research.
