FIGHTING BLINDNESS

Fighting Blindness is a charitable organisation dedicated to reversing sight loss through research, support and advocacy. By funding innovative vision-research projects and championing the lived experience of those affected, the charity works to ensure that new treatments reach the people who need them most. The Insight Counselling Service provides phone counselling for individuals living with sight loss and their families, while regular support groups create a safe space for sharing experiences. The organisation also encourages public involvement through membership, a private members' draw, and advocacy initiatives that give a voice to the visually impaired community.
