HOUSING ASSOCIATION FOR INTEGRATED LIVING

Housing Association for Integrated Living (HAIL) is Ireland's specialist mental-health housing association, delivering the key to independent living since 1985. By combining high-quality social housing with dedicated mental-health tenancy sustainment services, HAIL supports people to maintain stable, autonomous homes while accessing the care they need.

Through its Tenant Centre, HAIL offers a clear pathway to becoming a tenant, straightforward rent-payment guidance, and an easy-to-use repair-reporting system. Its in-house support team provides tailored mental-health tenancy sustainment, helping tenants stay housed and thrive. In 2024 the organisation supported more than 700 tenants and clients, managed 483 homes and achieved a 98 % sustainment rate for those receiving in-house support.

HAIL also welcomes partnership opportunities with property developers, local authorities, estate agents and state agencies such as NAMA and the Land Development Agency, aiming to expand its housing stock and reach. By fostering community involvement and offering regular newsletters on social groups and events, HAIL creates a supportive network that goes beyond bricks and mortar, championing lasting independence for its residents across Ireland.
