CARING AND SHARING ASSOCIATION

Caring and Sharing Association (CASA) is a charitable organisation that has been fostering friendships and social empowerment for people with disabilities across Ireland for more than four decades. Through its hallmark one-to-one "buddy" programme, volunteers work closely with members, providing personalised support that encourages confidence, community participation and lasting relationships.

CASA runs a network of 20 local groups that deliver weekly and monthly social activities, from casual gatherings and sing-alongs to special outings such as boat trips and pilgrimages to Lourdes. The charity also operates six charity shops throughout the country, offering a sustainable way for the public to support its work. By combining volunteer-led companionship, regular events and a welcoming, relaxed environment, CASA enables members to build robust social networks and enjoy a richer, more inclusive life.

Head-quartered in Dublin, CASA's reach extends nationwide, ensuring that anyone, wherever they live in Ireland, can find a nearby group or shop and become part of a caring, vibrant community.
