CARNEW COMMUNITY CARE COMPANY LIMITED BY GUARANTEE

Carnew Community Care CLG is a voluntary, charitable and non-profit organisation founded by the Daughters of Charity in 1983 to meet the needs of older people living in Carnew and the surrounding Arklow area of County Wicklow. Drawing on a Vincentian spirit, the service places respect, dignity and a warm sense of belonging at the heart of everyday life.

The organisation now operates 28 supportive-living houses, providing safe, home-like accommodation for seniors who wish to remain independent while receiving the care they need. Complementing the residential homes is a vibrant Day Centre that runs five days a week, offering a diverse programme of creative, health and social activities for both residents and members of the local community. These services are delivered with the help of dedicated staff, pastoral care teams and a network of volunteers, all united by a shared commitment to enjoyment and wellbeing.

Through its holistic approach, Carnew Community Care creates a welcoming village-like environment where older people can thrive, stay connected and enjoy a high quality of life.
