ST. MUREDACH'S TRUST

St. Muredach's Trust is a diocesan body that provides governance and financial oversight for the Diocese of Killala. Operating under the direction of the Apostolic Administrator, Most Rev. Francis Duffy, the Trust's Management Committee brings together senior clergy and lay representatives-including the Right Rev. Msgr Seán Killeen, Fr Michael Flynn and Ms Rosemarie Loftus-to steward the diocese's resources and support its pastoral mission.

The Trust works closely with the College of Consultors and the Diocesan Financial Administrator, Fr Michael Gilroy, to ensure transparent accounting, prudent investment of assets and compliance with canonical and civil regulations. It also liaises with the diocesan secretary, accountants and solicitors to coordinate administrative matters across the diocese, which spans parts of County Galway and County Mayo. Through this collaborative structure, St. Muredach's Trust helps maintain the financial health and organisational stability that enable parishes and ministries throughout the region to thrive.
